An impromptu trip to Elafonisi, on the southwestern tip of Crete. A pink beach with shallow, crystal waters - gorgeous and peaceful. And required a drive through the countryside where I saw goats, sheep, old shepherds, gorges, winding roads, churches, and amazing wildflowers.
